Hey all.
Well, I'm off on another adventure now. After escaping the clutches of work, I'm off to Vietnam for a couple weeks, with a week spend in Laos for good effect. I'll be travelling with my sister (Ming) and visiting the folks in Hanoi, Saigon, and Nha Trang (Vietnam).
I'm currently hanging out in an Internet terminal in Taipei, Taiwan. We had to escape our gate as it was a massive Hello Kitty display, complete with pink candy cane poles, pink seats, and Hello Kitty tunes blasting away. Just odd. I think I know a co-worker who would love it tho!
I'll try to post some pix when I figure out the best way!
In any case, we've complete the first leg of the journey, sitting in the top cabin of a 747. Pretty cool, but as usual, I slept most of the way.
We board our plan for Hanoi, Vietnam in a few hours, but I just wanted to set up the blog.

Hi Ming and Mike! May partner Hillary (you met her, Ming, briefly, 2 summers ago when we were in Vancouver) is currently in Vietnam - headed for Ho chi Minh City now, I think! Let's see if you run into her\sarcasm.
